Therapy thoughts: Hold space for yourself.

Your needs and your emotions deserve attention. They deserve to be validated! You deserve to be honored, accepted and heard.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
How exactly can we hold space for ourselves? Like self-care, this looks different for everyone. Holding space can be physical space, mental, emotional, spiritual, social, etc.

This can be self-compassion and self-validation.

This can be permission slips for whatever you need right now. Maybe that’s listening to yourself, boundaries, closeness, acknowledgment, time, connection.

Maybe this means designating a room in your home for your own personal meditation.

Maybe this means crying in your car before you walk into your apartment, or breaking it down on the dance floor (living room) for a bit of #dancetherapy.

Maybe it means taking my affirmation course to implement more positive self-talk into your day.

Whatever space you need, create it. The only person that knows what you need is YOU.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
