Self-Worth is Like a Boat

I think of our self worth like a boat.

When you have traumas, pains, experiences that hurt holes start to form in the bottom of your boat. Other folks validation feels good and external accomplishments help momentarily, but if we don’t mend our holes, the worth is temporary.

Self-worth work is an ongoing commitment to feeling, dealing, and healing. It’s an ongoing commitment to patching our holes with self-compassion, self-validation, self-care and mindfulness. We understand we’re not perfect but we’re still of inherent value and don’t have to hustle to matter.

You aren’t broken, you’re a literal miracle, badass warrior. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

How’s patching the wounds you carry going? How’s the work of feeling dealing healing?⠀

May you be well fam,
