5 Techniques to Ground You in Times of Stress

1️⃣Do quick breaths while "raising the roof" with your arms 10 times⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
2️⃣Stomp bare feet on earth ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
3️⃣Gargle a drink or mouthwash ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
4️⃣Pop bubble wrap⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
5️⃣Rub your hands on your pants and feel the fabric⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

I've had to double down on my mindfulness practices and grounding techniques these past few weeks, as I'm sure a lot of you have as well. For me, mindfulness looks different everyday. Sometimes a long guided meditation is what I need to ground me, and sometimes it's eating cheese string out on the grass in my backyard (are you a peeler or a biter?? Serious inquiry).
