You Don't Have To Apologize For Your Emotions

They are valid & you don’t have to apologize!

So many of us are conditioned to people please, pursue perfect, & not cause waves. Apologizing for your feelings devalues your experience in order to hypothetically help someone else’s. Strange, we think emotions are important as long as they aren’t ours. 🤔

Validating your own emotional experience is an important and crucial step in building true self-worth. It’s the core of everything I teach and counsel. It’s not easy to shift decades of engrained beliefs, but you can change pieces right now.

Hold space for yourself. Stand your emotional ground. Try not apologizing next time you cry or feel sad or even feel angry! Validate yourself.
